Il giardino è un luogo sicuro e conosciuto, organizzato ma allo stesso tempo dipendente dal caso delle forze naturali. Oltre la siepe vi è il disordine, l’ignoto e quindi l’inquietudine, i doveri, i limiti, le regole, che non sono altro che la sospensione di un sogno; questo sogno riprende nel giardino, in cui basta semplicemente essere.

In questo lavoro ho voluto dare importanza al Giardino che mi è molto caro. Ho utilizzato piante e erbe trovate nella mia casa di Venezia e nel giardino dei miei genitori.

La forma quadrata richiama a un recinto - cintato è il giardino - come qualcosa che racchiude e protegge, e sottolinea il confine tra ciò che è dentro e ciò che è fuori.

The garden is a safe and well-known place, it is organized but at the same time it is dependent on the ramdoness of nature. Beyond the hedge there is disorder, the unknown and therefore the restlessness, duties, limits, rules, which are nothing more than the suspension of a dream; this dream resumes in the garden, where it is enough to simply be.

In this work I wanted to give importance to the Garden which is very dear to me. I used plants found in my home in Venice and plants from my parents' garden.

The square shape recalls a fence - fenced is the garden - as something that encloses and protects and underlines what is inside and what is outside.
